LA TRANSJURASSIENNE FEBRUARY, 11th & 12th 2012 Rules extract
All participants must provide proof of medical aptitude for cross-country skiing on a competitive level either by a medical certificate of less than a year or by a copy of a valid ski licence. PARTICIPATION La Transjurassienne is open to all skiers, men or women who are 20 or older the day of the race (50 CT and 76 FT); 18 or older (25 CT and 30 FT). MEDICAL CERTIFICATE All racers must provide proof of medical aptitude for participation in Nordic ski races on a competitive level by a medical certificate. INSURANCE All racers must have a personal individual insurance. BIB NUMBER 50 CT: Friday, February 10 between 9am and 7pm, Espace Lamartine, Morez. 25 CT: Friday February 10 between 9am and 7pm (Morez) and Saturday, February 11 between 11:30am and 1pm at the start (Chapelle des Bois) 76 FT and 54 FT and 30 FT: Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 11 between 9am and 7 pm, in Morez. Bib numbers are not transmissible (all changes must be authorized by the organization before February 4 (6 or 15€)). Bib numbers are equipped with an electronic chip (ensuring the timing). Please be careful not to damage it (cost if lost or damaged: 45€). CLOTHING BAGS Clothing bags will be transported by special trucks to the finish area. Race officials are not responsible for lost or stolen items. TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE Wax, pole, ski and bindings replacement stands are situated after each food station. All lent equipment must be returned to the technical assistance stand at the finish area. TIMING LIMITS Each racer has to pass the control points before the limits listed below or they will be disqualified. 50 CT: 11:45am Bois d’Amont ; 1:30pm Bellefontaine ; 4pm ; Chaux-Neuve ; 5pm Mouthe. 25 CT: 4pm Chaux-Neuve ; 5pm Mouthe. 76FT and 54 FT: 1:30pm Bois d’Amont; 4:00pm Chapelle des Bois; 5 :30pm Chaux-Neuve ski jumping; 6:30pm Mouthe 30 FT: 5 :30pm Chaux Neuve ski jumpings, et 6.30pm Mouthe. CANCELLATION REFUNDS 50 km CT, 76 and 54 km FT: 36 €; 25 km CT, 30 km FT: 18€; UltraTrans : 54€ IN CASE OF ACCIDENT OR ILLNESS, REFUND (medical certificate dated and sent, no later than Saturday, 4th February 2012) 50 km CT, 76 and 54 km FT: 36 €; 25 km CT, 30 km FT: 18€; UltraTrans : 54€ ULTRATRANS REGULATIONS The UltraTrans challenge associates the two main races in each technique: 50km CT on Saturday and 76km FT on Sunday. It is the only race combination possible in the UltraTrans, for men and women alike. The addition of the two race times will give you your UltraTrans ranking. The first 3 men and first 3 women will be awarded. Special price: save 25 % on each race (not including the day licences) AWARDS The organising committee reserves the right to award the number of racers and the categories of their choice depending on participation. If any of the 3 first racers are not present for the flower ceremony at the finish line, they will not receive their prize money during the official awards ceremony. All racers must be present at the official awards ceremony to receive their prize. RESERVES The organising committee reserves the right to modify the race courses as well as all points of the race regulations depending on the race conditions IMAGE RIGHTS Through his/her registration, participants allow the organising committee, its partners and the Media to use images in which he/she appears.
